By agreement of the Duke of Mecklenburg, Duke Alexander and Duke Michael, in order to share the functions and representative duties associated with the Grand Ducal House, with effect from 1 January 2026:
Duke Michael will formally support his father the Duke as his deputy, as and when required, in the execution of his functions as head of the Grand Ducal House.
Upon the death, incapacity or resignation of the Duke of Mecklenburg, Duke Michael will solely execute all rights, duties and powers regarding the house law of the Grand Ducal House.
