On Saturday 15 July 2017 the wedding of Alexander von Wasielewski and Johanna Gering took place at Mörlbach in Upper Bavaria.
The newlywed couple will share a wedding anniversary with the grooms parents Her Highness Duchess Marie Katharina and her husband Wolfgang von Wasielewski who were married on 15 July 1978.
In total around 200 family and friends of the bride and groom attended the wedding including the Their Highnesses The Duke and Duchess, their three children Duchess Olga, The Hereditary Prince and Duke Michael and a number of relatives from the Austrian Imperial Family. Following the wedding the newlywed couple spent their honeymoon on the Italian island of Sicily.
